What were the main ideas we learned this week?
This week we dove in deeper into the world of tragedy! By reading Oedipus Rex and "Tragic Fallacy", I got a further look at different types of tragedy. Tragedy isn't necessary about a sad story and death, but more of how the characters deal with the tragic circumstances.
I really enjoyed reading Oedipus Rex. I have heard of the Oedipus complex and know what it is, but reading the source material for that was really interesting. OEDIPUS DIDN’T HAVE AN OEDIPUS COMPLEX. That is what I learned besides the whole “you can’t avoid your fate” thing...But I really enjoyed the play. It was a lot different then I thought it would be.
Also, SO MANY BLOG POSTS. I know that I talked this last week, but it still applies to this week. I know that they will help me in the long run, but I don't have time to do them. Finishing them at home is a struggle. But, IT WILL BE DONE!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
